Here are important updates that we have put in place:&nbsp; 
 
COVID-19 Testing&mdash;No Copay 
 
COVID-19 testing is a covered benefit with all of our medical plans. What&rsquo;s new is that you won&rsquo;t have a copay or other cost share for COVID-19 diagnostic testing when it is medically necessary and performed according to CDC guidelines.&nbsp; &nbsp; 
 
COVID-19 Testing and Treatment&mdash;No prior authorization required&nbsp; 
 
BCBSAZ is waiving prior authorization (precertification) for diagnostic tests and covered treatment services that are medically necessary and consistent with CDC guidance for members who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. 
 
Prescription Refills
<ul>
 <li>You can have an early refill of 30-day prescriptions you take for a long-term or chronic condition in almost all cases.&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 
 </li>
 <li>You can receive a 90-day supply of a medication if your plan offers mail-order pharmacy benefits, and you sign up for this service. Many of our plans also cover 90-day supplies purchased at retail pharmacies. You can check your plan benefits online at <a href="http://azblue.com/MyBlue" target="_blank">azblue.com/MyBlue</a>. 
 
 </li>
 <li>If there is a shortage of the medication you take, we will work with you and your doctor to find an alternate option. If that medication costs more than the one you normally take, you won&rsquo;t have to pay the additional amount.&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 
 </li>

Nurse Advice and Online Doctor Visits 
When you have questions or concerns about COVID-19 or another illness, we have resources for you:

 <li>Nurse On Call service: Call 1-866-422-2729 any time of the day or night to speak with a registered nurse.&nbsp; 
 
 </li>
 <li>BlueCare Anywhere: This 24/7 service connects you to a board-certified doctor by live video. It&rsquo;s just like going to see a doctor, only you don&rsquo;t have to leave your home or office. You can use your computer, tablet, or mobile device for your video visit. 
 
 Through July 31, 2020, BCBSAZ is waiving cost share for telemedicine. So you&rsquo;ll pay $0 out of pocket if the services you receive are covered by your plan, medically necessary, and reasonable to be provided virtually. The $0 cost share applies to telemedicine visits with your PCP or through BlueCare Anywhere.
